Yuriko Aran was my submission for an 'amalgamation' contest over at the Minimate Multiverse. The objective was to merge existing characters into something new, so I blended Samus Aran (Metroid) and Lady Deathstrike (Marvel Comics). The actual submission was a customized Minimate, but I drew a couple sketches to accompany my entry. This one turned out well, so I decided to color it. I'm still working on the final version, which will have a full background, but it serves well as is for now.
